My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rebel Rebel is named for the David Bowie song, but she's more a pied piper than a rebel. She loves to lead the other young dogs on merry chases -- up, over, around and through the big yard. And they love to catch her, wrestle her to the ground, and chew her up! She grins, everybody wins, and they all troop in for a nap.

Picked up as a stray, history unknown, she came to my attention while networking another Husky in the same shelter. I invited her and have never regretted it! She is beautiful, loving, responsive, and talkative. However, she IS one of those Huskies who thinks fences are "suggestions," decorative rather than functional. She can go under a flimsy fence that's too loose, or over one that's climbable. The good news is that she just does it because she can -- and never leaves; goes from yard to yard, never hassles the residents, then comes back to her own. This is a fixable situation; just letting you know -- she needs a good fence. And a dog friend. And plenty of exercise.

Rebel Rebel is spayed, vaccinated, house trained, heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $200.00.
