Clark's Story...
This sweet boy is Clark. He is a handsome, energetic, 60 pound hound mix born in Georgia in April 2014. He likes people and loves to romp and play with other dogs. He has had professional one on one training at a 'doggy boot camp.' One of his favorite activities is walking on a treadmill, which he can do unsupervised for over an hour. He needs a home where he can run and play outdoors or where his owner can take him running. He would do best in a home with no cats. He would love another dog his size to play with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clark, a Newtown Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Newtown, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Newtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
