Hazel's Story...
Meet Hazel! This gorgeous gal is an Aussie mix. She was surrendered to the lovely PAWS people by a family that just didn't have time for her. Hazel is an extremely sweet and smart girl. She gets along great with other dogs, cats, and kids. She would do best in a home with an active family that has a fenced in yard and with another dog to play with. We really can't say enough great thing about Hazel. The family that gets this sweet baby will be very lucky! Hazel is fully vetted and her adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hazel, a Troy Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Troy, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
