Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Birdie is looking for a great home! She is an adorable fun girl who can't wait to find a family of her own. Here is what her fostermom has to say about this cutie: Birdie was rescued from the Stockton Animal Shelter in February 2016. Her DNA panel indicates she is a purebred American Staffordshire terrier, however she looks to be a mix to us. She is approximately 45lbs and 12 months-old, spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on her shots, flea and tick prevention. Birdie has a very sweet temperament and bonds closely to her human companions. She knows basic commands, sit, stay and leave-it and is working on down. She walks on-leash beautifully and would make a fabulous running partner. She is house-broken and crate trained. True to her breed she has energetic bursts of energy followed by hours of laziness. Although she currently lives with other dogs, she will do best in an only-dog home with a fenced yard, children over 10 and no cats. She will make a wonderful loving companion to an older child, single-person or retired couple that wants a snuggle buddy to watch TV and take walks with.
