Honey's Story...
Honey is a sweet female hound mix, who has had a rough life. She was pulled by Animal Life from the Lee County shelter severely emaciated and with a very bad tail injury. We had the tail removed, and have gotten her closer to her ideal weight. Because she was a stray, she is still getting used to house training. Patience and care will be vital to this girl's successful integration into a forever home. Do you have room in your home and your heart for sweet Honey?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a sanford Hound (Unknown Type)/Carolina Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Carolina Dog for sale in sanford, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Carolina Dog dog from a breeder in sanford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in sanford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a sanford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Carolina Dog breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Carolina Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in sanford paves the way for another one to be saved.
