Misty's Story...

Misty is a sweet girl and no one is a stranger to her!  She is ready to find that family who will love her and take care of her.  She needs assistance in learning to walk on a lead and has not been in a house.  She is somewhat crate trained but is eager to learn and please her people.  She seems fine around other animals, including cats.

Her recall needs work but first she will need to learn to trust people again.  In the past she was mostly on her own so trusting people is a new learning experience for her

Misty would probably do better with older children and with gentleness and patience she would be a loving family pet to enjoy life with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misty, a Grand Saline Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Grand Saline, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Grand Saline.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Saline already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Saline breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Saline paves the way for another one to be saved.
