Gage's Story...
Gage came to us from Tuscon, The people that he loved and trusted throw him out on the streets like trash. He would stay in the driveway and his old people just acted like he was not there. Luckily some kind neighbors started feeding and giving him water. And we were asked to take him into rescue. Gage is a very sweet boy, he is a little shy at first but warms up pretty fast. He knows basic commands and shake. He is very playful, He is crate trained, housebroken, he walks pretty good on a leash, He loves the water and he is learning that toys are fun to play with

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gage, a Phoenix Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
