I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Stella-NEEDS NEW HOME & MOM's Story...
My two favorite things are brushing and cuddling .. I'd like my third favorite to be YOU. My mom has a brain tumor and wants me to find someone new to love. I promised her I would try. I'm good with an easygoing kitty (me and Levi shared our mom), and a dog who ignores me. A gentle well-behaved kid 10+ is okay too. I'm a bit of a princess, but that's not a bad thing when you're a sweetheart too!

** STELLA is estimated to be 4-5. Her adoption fee is $125. Come see her at the Aurora PETSMART (976 S. Rt. 59, just north of Meijer)! WALK-IN ADOPTION HOURS at that location are 1-4:00 on SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS -- NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY.

** For more information or to schedule a weekday appointment, please email purrsnaperville@yahoo.com. (Our phones are currently under maintenance, and will be available again shortly.)

** All PURRS' cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLeuk tested, wormed, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella-NEEDS NEW HOME & MOM, a Hillside Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hillside, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Hillside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillside paves the way for another one to be saved.
