ROSCOE's Story...
MEET ROSCOE...
Roscoe aka Chocolate Hunk of Love is looking for his FOREVER home. Roscoe is beautiful and charming. He's healthy, up to date on all his vetting, microchipped, neutered, and on heartworm preventative. He is also crate trained, house trained and a very well mannered boy in the house and the car. In addition, Roscoe will start a great doggie training course on June 4th so he will not be available for a couple more weeks but we are taking applications.
Roscoe enjoys long walks, playing with other dogs, taking naps and more. He is a Netflix and chill type of guy - his cuddling abilities are one of his best attributes.
Please contact Anne at petloverescue@aol. com if you would like to meet this very handsome bachelor.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ROSCOE, a Houston Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
