This is SAVANNAH our new baby! She is about 2 to 3 years old and has had a rough life up until now. She has been chained outside her entire life and has had several litters of puppies. She was turned into the shelter with another litter of her puppies which were 5 weeks old at the time. They were taken away from her and pulled by rescue, but poor little Savannah was left behind. You can see the scars on her neck from the chain that she had to endure for years and a second scar around her neck possibly from an embedded collar. Even though she has been out of the shelter for a while she is still somewhat emaciated and just can't get enough to eat. Savannah house trained, crate trained and walks pretty well on a leash. She is up to date on shots, has been spayed, is microchipped and is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.

About Coastal Canine Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small group of people that work full time at "normal" jobs, but we also feel in our hearts that we want to make a difference. Each of us have multiple pets and we just want to share our love with the pets that other people discard for one reason or another. We want to show that abandoned, lost or hurt dog that there is still love in the world and we can find it for them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do most of our adoptions on line, but do attend Petsmart on Saturdays. Not all of our pets are ready to come to Petsmart so even if our pets are not there, we will be there to take applications or to show you our book of pets that are available.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process is similar to other Rescue groups. You will need to fill out an adoption application, provide a vet reference and tell us a little about yourself and why you want to adopt a rescue dog. Our adoption fees are $200 which includes all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm testing/heartworm free, wormings and spay or neutering of the dog. Senior dog adoption fees may be waived depending on the age and health of the dog.
