This dog is being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.
NAME: Porsha

Porsha is one of the most delicate little dolls in the chihuahua world! She's sweet, quiet, and if she had long eyelashes she would probably bat them at everyone.
Porsha loves her humans. Porsha is a low key little dog and her favorite thing to do is to hang around with her humans. She is perfectly content lying on your lap as you watch TV and relax around the house. If you have a home office, she would enjoy lying in her doggie bed by your desk. She is not a big kisser and she rarely barks. She is perfect for a low-to-moderate energy laid back family.
Porsha gets along with the other dogs in her foster home and occasionally plays with one of them. We have not seen her play with toys yet, so are not sure how interested she is in toys. She is mellow around the pack (both dogs and humans) and just wants to fit in.
Porsha only weighs 4lbs soaking wet, therefore she is too delicate for a home with children. Note that she was surrendered to a shelter because she snapped at a toddler in her previous home. So we don't want her to go where she won't be happy either. Porsha is about 4-5 years old so she's past the puppy stage and still has a long life ahead of her.
Porsha is mostly housebroken and will use pee pads. We believe she would be perfectly happy in a house with other dogs, or as an only dog. We don't know how she would be with cats. Porsha would love to have a quiet home with a lap and warm dog bed. Of course, sleeping in bed with you would be the best choice.
