My name is Gina!

Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) Mix Dog for adoption in Elgin, Texas - Gina

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Gina's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Gina's Story...

Nobody wants me!

Gina was dumped in front of the house a few months ago.  A loving family attempted to give Gina a home, but she is a bit rambunctious for young children.

She is a mixed breed; black with white chest - lab/hound type of features.  Her tail has a little kinked poof on the end, probably that way since birth and her nose has a cute little ridge that runs down the middle.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and is on heartworm prevention.

Sweet personality, a little timid but friendly.

There has been some food aggression and playing a bit rough with the 3 year old and the older dog.

We believe she is trainable for someone who would have the time to devote.  She is already pretty good at sit, stay and fetch when she is not too excited.

She would be ok with older children who could give her commands and tell her 'no.'

She is boarding at a kennel until a permanent home is found.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gina, a Elgin Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Elgin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Elgin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elgin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elgin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elgin paves the way for another one to be saved.
