Facts about Keeta

  • Breed: Border Collie/Husky Mix
  • Color: Black - With White
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
This boy is quite the charmer. He loves attention and he knows how to make everyone love him. He can be a bit of a handful but at 11 months old, he's still just a puppy. Keeta loves to go for walks and play with toys. He is pretty good with other dogs with proper introduction. Sometimes other dogs think he comes on a little strong but really he just wants a friend. Keeta hasn't had much training and has spent most of his life on a chain............ Well that is over......... He is finally going to get his chance. We are working with walking on leash He is learning not to jump and he does take treats very nicely. He loves children and would sure be tickled to have a family. When he talks we are pretty sure he's saying Wooo Wooo, so he's definitely got some Husky in his cute little self. We are thinking maybe Husky/Collie. Whatever he is, Keeta is beautiful. All he needs is someone to love him and someone to help him be the wonderful boy we know he can be. Keeta is neutered, up on his vaccinations and micro chipped. He is learning about potty training and knows how to use a doggie door. Please call Lorrie 208 339 0130 or email kjfam@dcdi.net.

About Animals Need Help of Bear Lake

About Our Shelter...

We are a small volunteer group located in Montpelier Idaho. We are very dedicated to making our little corner of the world just a bit more caring and humane. Our animlas are spayed, neutered, socialized and healthy before they are placed in a forever loving home. We do require references to adopt and a vet reference works great. We do not have a set adoption fee but work totally on donation. The donations help cover the medical expenses for the animals. Every penny donated to our shelter goes right back to the animals. Our administrative expenses and travel expenses are all donated by our volunteers. Most importantly we each spend time with every dog. We are out to the shelter about 5 or 6 times a day. Each animal gets there own one on one time. They know we love them and we think we have the best furkids in the whole world. Come see us and be amazed at what good care and lots of love can do for a homeless pet.
Our moto is, "We are their hope, you are their future"
