Jimmy's Story...
Jimmy is just turning 2. He is smart, beautiful, fun and easy to train, walks well on a leash and sleeps well in his kennel. He has lived with a 4 year old little boy who he adores and he really enjoys the company of people! He has also lived with a large doberman and, more recently, a stray chihuahua the family took in. Unfortunately, the doberman has decided he is not happy living with a young adult Bull Terrier who is testing his patience and it was no longer safe for Jimmy to stay with the family. Jimmy has a high prey drive and can be an escape artist. We would prefer to place him as an only pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jimmy, a Houston Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
