My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Does it get any cuter than doe-eyed Lena? We don’t think so. Though she may be 5-years-old, Lena is so petite that she looks just like a kitten and always will. As if her perma-kitten status wasn’t sufficient to charm you, she also has the cutest little heart-shaped nose. It’s enough to make you say ahhh. Recently, Lena was pulled from a hoarding situation along with over 30 other cats. Due to being lost in a crowd for so long, Lena tends to be very quiet and a little shy with brand new people. It only take this sweet girl a short time to warm up though. Once introduced, she is actually a very affectionate lap cat. After being one of so many, Lena is really looking forward to the day when she can be the focus of someone’s attention. Something this sweetheart really deserves. Contact The Pet Rescue Center today to meet Lena.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to reduce unnecessary euthanasia of dogs and cats in at-risk situations and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
