My name is Gunner and I just arrived into WGSPR. I am a male, 8 years old and neutered. I am up to date on my vaccinations as well.

I do have to be careful of the food I eat, as I do have an allergy - but get me on some good healthy grub and I have no issues.

I get along with other dogs and am very well behaved.

More to come on me as my foster family gets to know me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunner, a Alma German Shorthaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Alma, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer dog from a breeder in Alma.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alma already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alma breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alma paves the way for another one to be saved.
