I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Duke's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Duke's Story...
This handsome boy is Duke, & he's a 5-year-old, neutered pit bull! He's vetted & up
to date on his vaccinations & preventatives, weighs about 70 pounds, is crate
trained, knows commands, & looooves to cuddle!! He's playful, energetic,
well-behaved, smart, & loyal - He enjoys spending time outside sunbathing so a home
with a yard would be preferable, but he's definitely an indoor dog and sleeps in his
own bed at night. Good with smaller pups & has done well with cats in the past. Duke
would make a GREAT addition to a family with older children (teens) or the perfect
companion for a couple with an empty nest. He was adopted at 1yr old and nursed back
to health after Parvo Virus. He has resource (food) aggression. We have a Brittany
spaniel that he plays very well with but we do feed them separately. He does fine
with treats! There have been no incidents with aggression to speak of - but there is
obvious tension with my 2yo so a young kid free home is best!
He comes with vet records, crate & bed, food & bowls with him! We were requesting a
veterinary reference for adoption. Adoption fee is $120 For information you must contact

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Yukon Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Yukon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Yukon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yukon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yukon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yukon paves the way for another one to be saved.
