My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jay has been great with every human he has been around. When he first arrived in foster care he had not been other animals besides dogs. He was a little leery of the horses and barked and tried to chase them but now he walks along side them and pays not attention. He tried to chase the cat when he first arrived but the cat swiped him and he took off running the other way. He goes for walks with his foster brother border collie, Buddy, and his son Chibby.

He loves to go on walks and stays close to his human. We do not know if he is house broken as he has been living in a kennel but he is really smart and I’m sure he would learn quickly. He has been around children. He is very sweet. After spending about 3 months in foster care we think he would do best with a family with no other pets, but with the right introductions he could be fine. He is in very good health. Currently he lives in a kennel with his son Chibby, Everyone that has met him has thought he was a really great dog.

He stayed at the Pet Motel in Ione over Christmas and they said he just “went with the flow.” He is very easy going.

We really want to see sweet Jay spend his golden years in a loving home with a warm bed and treated like to sweetheart he is. Could you give him his forever home?
