My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Precious, a 8 to 9 year old female Chihuahua. Sadly, I lost our loving home because of the death of both my parents only 10 months apart. Their family is unable to take me into their homes because their dogs (that they own) do not do well with other dogs. I who would not leave my dad’s body, and was very devastated but I'm now settling in with new people caring for me.

Fortunately, I was connected to Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services, who worked on getting me in a temporary foster home. I am are here until I can get adopted, or get placed in foster care for a longer stay through Kitty Connection.

In the meantime, I am in need of dental and blood work. I am healthy and have a lot of years left to be loved and to love you back. Estimated treatment is $500. Please help by donating on YouCaring!
