Bentley's Story...
Just like cars, not all dogs need to be big and tricked out to be awesome. Bentley is a very small and sweet boy. He is adjusting in a loving foster home after his original owners could no longer care for him. Our guy is a long haired Chi Mix. He is approximately 5 years old. Bentley is the cream of the crop in his class. Bentley weighs under 10 pounds. He gets along well with his foster siblings and is also good with cats. He is a calm and lower energy guy. Bentley has been through some major changes recently, so of course he can be a bit timid and vocal when he first meets you. He loves to get on the back of foster mom's couch and be near her. Bentley is slowly spending more time on his foster mom's lap and is learning trust again. Because Bentley is so small, he will do better in a home without small children. This cutie has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. If you've been looking for a small dog to become a member of your family, and Bentley sounds like the perfect fit, race on over to ITVRescue.org and complete an online adoption application. Our cute Guy will be reviewing applications. Forever homes need only apply. Bentley never wants to go through these trials again....he deserves stability, love and a lifetime of happiness. We hope you will give this little cutie a chance to show you how sweet he is!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bentley, a Evansville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
