Facts about Spencer

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: White (Mostly)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Spencer is around 1 year. He was trapped in Scottdale and since we were told he was friendly decided to give him a chance to find an inside home. In the 2 weeks we have had him he has become very affectionate and sweet. He loves to have his head scratched and purrs away. He is mostly white with some buff patches. He would be scared in any new surroundings so he needs a person willing to give him time to adjust. We also don't think he would be good with small kids.

His brother Red is also available for adoption. They are so cute together!

Adoption donation is $80. He is neutered, current on shots, wormed. flea treated and Leukemia negative.

Contact Patty at 724-547-6421 or pjmazza@hotmail.com to schedule a time to meet him.

About The Cat Committee

About Our Rescue Group...

The Cat Committee is a non-profit - 501(c)3 - all volunteer TNR/adoption organization for cats and kittens. We operate out of Mt Pleasant, PA and help all surrounding communities. We are an TNR group (trap,neuter/release) and also find homes for the adoptable cats found during this procoess. We also help many other cats and kittens in need.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events at various locations. Please email to see where we will be next. Appointments can also be arranged to see the cats and kittens at our shelter and/or foster houses. Email or call to find out what works best for you.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption donation is $80 (unless otherwise noted). All cats are spayed/neutered prior to adoption (no exceptions), Leukemia/AIDS tested, wormed and are current on shots (booster and rabies). They are also treated with Revolution upon arrival.
Sometimes when adopting two cats together we offer a reduced adoption fee.
There is an application and contract to be completed by all interested adopters. A vet check and landlord authorization is also required.
