My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pumpkin is a sweet little guy looking for his forever home. He and a buddy wandered up to a home, having either been lost or dumped. A wonderful woman took care of them for a while, hoping that their owner would eventually show up, but no such luck. She reached out for help with finding Pumpkin a home and we are the lucky rescue that was able to take him. Pumpkin was a little bit shy at first, understandably, but has always been very friendly. He learned how to walk on a leash in no time and really enjoys our walks around the farm. He has made lots of new dog friends and gets along great with our cats. Pumpkin is very gentle and is not a big dog although the pictures are a bit deceiving. He weighs only 24 lbs. and is full grown. He loves to sit in your lap or be right up next to you. He is very affectionate. We love his adorable wrinkly face and he sure can give us some incredibly cute expressions. Pumpkin has a nub tail...also very cute! We have had Pumpkin neutered, microchipped and brought up to date on all of his vaccinations. He has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. He is one year old. This sweetheart has a ton of love to give and is sure to be a wonderful family member. We would love to introduce you to Pumpkin to see if he is the boy for you. Please complete our adoption application form at www.cedarfarmrescue.com then call Tony at 336.251.8877 to make an appointment to visit. We meet our prospective adopters by appointment only at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville. When coming for a visit please be sure to bring the entire family including any other dogs along. We hope to find a great match for Pumpkin and your family! He is crate-trained and housebroken. 14556
