Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This beautiful boy is “BB” who is approx. 3-4 yrs old and 49 lbs. He was one of our adoptees back in March of 2013. Unfortunately for “BB”, shortly after being adopted, he began showing signs of an immune system disorder which became too much for his adopters to handle as they were dealing with some other personal issues, so BB was returned to us for the care that he needs. BB has been in our foster home in Pembroke while we've been investigating his medical issue and trying to resolve the issue holistically with which we have made much progress. When he came back to us this past December, he was on a temporary high dosage of steroids to control his symptoms - nasal discharge. We are doing a holistic approach to control his disorder in order to get him off of the steroids completely. So far, it's working very well as he is now on only 5 mg/day of prednisone and working towards totally illuminating it. BB had lost all of his toenails and in late December had a complete dental cleaning where many teeth had to be extracted. In spite of all of this, “BB” is the sweetest, most lovable boy you will ever meet. He would make a wonderful companion to someone as he is house trained, not destructive and just loves life.
BB is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. He has tested negative for heart worms and lyme. He has had a complete blood panel done and all is normal.
BBi has been around cats but he loves to chase them so a home without any cats might be best. He loves kids and people! His adoption fee is $300.
