This utterly charming little dog is Petunia, a 4-year-old weighing in at about 20 pounds, who is a mix of possibly Corgi and Labrador Retriever. She originally hails from California, where she had been a stray dog. While stray, Petunia had been hit by a car which resulted in the loss of one of her hind legs, but like most tripods, she gets around as well as any four-legged dog. A move to Montreal and drastic change in lifestyle left Petunia alone for far too long all day, so she has come to us in search of the perfect home. Petunia’s wish list includes not being left alone all day, and getting to go on the long walks and hikes that she loves so much. She gets along well with other dogs, and may even benefit from having another one at home for company. Petunia has never lived with children, but enjoyed being petted and playing with children she has met. Friendly and loving, quiet and calm, Petunia is a real darling who is sure to brighten someone’s world. Please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if you are interested in adopting our very special little flower Petunia.
