Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet BuBu: a beautiful, sweet, loving guy even after somehow being dragged behind a car as a puppy. He had his tail amputated, and his right front leg suffered nerve damage. A recent vet exam said the leg doesn't need to be amputated, but he will always walk with a limp. He will not be a good jogging partner, but he will be a super sweet addition to any family. BuBu is one of the happiest, friendliest, dogs we have come across in a long time!
BuBu walks well on the leash, has no bad behaviors inside the house or out, and is kid and dog friendly. He loves people and loves to be cuddled. He is house-broken, rarely barks, and crate-trained. Bubu is fine with every other dog he meets, and loves to play. Our best guess is he's between 1 1/2 and 2 years old, and weighs about 60 pounds. The rescue person who found him said "He seems to be the kind of dog who just goes along and gets along. He has never shown any signs of aggression; he would be a lovely family dog." His current foster home agrees: "He is a fantastic dog. Very easy going, cuddly, totally house-trained, and although he loves attention and affection he is not clingy or needy."
He looks like Golden Retriever combined with an Australian shepherd with the big head of some other breed. So who knows what he is, and who cares: he's as good as gold in the personality department and that's what counts!
BuBu's adoption fee is $300, which includes vet exam, DHAPP (distemper combo) vaccination, bordetella vaccination, rabies vaccination, heart worm test (negative), microchip, deworming, flea and tick preventative, heart worm preventative and neuter.
