Are you looking for an all around handsome little gentleman who loves people and other dogs? I'm Mason and I was recently surrendered to a scary shelter and put on death row because my owners moved away! Thankfully I made a great impression on people with my manners and loving personality and CARE rescue saved me! I am a 2 year old male Lab and Shepherd blend approx 40lbs. I am a petite guy with a soft and shiny coat just perfect for hugs. I did great going for car rides and walk well on a leash. I like to be outside playing but do well indoors too. I have shown signs of being housebroken and am gentle and will likely do well with dog friendly kiddos too. I am thrilled will my chance at a better life and am looking for the family who will love me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mason, a San Antonio Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
