Figaro's Story...
N/M, 1 Year, Shih Tzu, Approx. 10 lbs.

Hi there, my name is Figaro. With a name like that I bet you think I am
this huge dog with a bellowing voice...Surprise...I am a cute little guy
whose tail is going to fly off if I don't stop wagging it. Another
surprise...I was found as a stray, all groomed and handsome. No one has
come in to claim me, if you can believe it, so I am up for grabs. But I
won't just go with just anyone, I am such a gem that I know whoever will
be my forever companion will have to be very special. That someone needs
to have a lot of love to give just like I am used to receiving that from
the MaxFund volunteers and staff. Also, I love to be held and cuddled so
there would have to be a lot of that action in my new home.

I love people, dogs, kids, cats and just about anything except for maybe
tarantulas, heh, heh! I am a wonderful lap dog who loves to snuggle.
Walks are great on a beautiful day and especially if it is with someone
that loves me and treats me like a king!

I'd love to meet you. If you don't want to walk with me, you could just
hold me and I can show you how well I cuddle!! See you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Figaro, a Denver Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Denver, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
