Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dog is being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.
NAME: Zorro
GENDER: Male (Neutered)
AGE: About 3 years
WEIGHT: About 6 Pounds
DOGS/CATS: Good with most small dogs, unknown with large dogs or cats
CHILDREN: Mature older children (14+)
HOUSEBROKEN: Yes, and will use a pee pad if he needs to
Say hello to Zorro, a very handsome, blue-eyed boy with a gorgeous brindle coat! He will definitely leave his mark on your heart!
Zorro came to CRT as an owner surrender from the shelter. He is a calm, quiet boy and listens well. He rarely barks, but sometimes will join in with his foster siblings if they are barking at something. He loves to snooze in his foster mom’s lap or chill in a bed, but also loves to zoom around and play tag with one of his foster brothers on the sofa. Zorro LOVES to play with toys and will turn over the toy basket so he can get to his favorites!
Crated while his foster mom is at work and to sleep at night, Zorro is also crated for meals (which he eats right up). He will wait quietly to be let out until his foster siblings have finished eating.
Zorro is a very smart boy and picked up on the routine in his foster home very quickly. He is housebroken (prefers to go outside, but will use the pee pad if he has to). Generally well behaved, there are times when Zorro acts rudely towards one of his foster siblings or is a little possessive of his foster mom’s lap. His foster mom works on these things with him every day and he has made great strides! His adopters will need to continue working with him, especially if there are other dogs in the home or that come to visit.
Daily walks would benefit Zorro greatly. He does well on a harness and leash.
Zorro is a wonderful, sweet, loving boy. He needs a calm yet active forever home with loving, experienced dog owners that have the time, patience and resources to dedicate to him for the rest of his long life. At three years old, he has many, many years of love and companionship left to give! He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention, and up to date on vaccinations.
This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption contract and $200 adoption fee required. .
