Stubbs's Story...
Introducing Mr. Stubbs. Stubbs is a 1 year old Bassett/Lab mix boy who is SOOOOO incredibly sweet! This boy loves everyone he meets, is housebroken and would love a family where someone is home most of the time. Stubbs came to us when he was only a few weeks old...we adopted him out to a wonderful family but unfortunately changes in their home environment has led to him needing to be returned to us. This was no fault of his own and he is still the same loveable, goofy boy! If you'd like to add Stubbs to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application. Stubbs is in foster care in West TN and will be transported once his adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stubbs, a Bedminster Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Bedminster, or seeking a Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Bedminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
