Henry's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Henry is a sweet, fluffy gray cat who is very loving. He had lived with his brother Sammy and his sister Daisy, and all were sad when their first mom passed away. Henry is a little shy with new people but once he knows you, he'll be right in your lap or beside you in bed. He would probably move into his new family most easily if there is room for Sammy too. He'll also relax if you can toss him fuzzy mice, crinkly balls, or really almost anything! He'll go invent new 'toys' for you - pens, pencils, straws, you'll see what he retrieves for you! He'll need your comfort when he hides during high winds or thunderstorms. But cuddling with Henry will be no chore!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry, a Wakefield Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Wakefield, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Wakefield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wakefield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wakefield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wakefield paves the way for another one to be saved.
