Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Emery's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Emery's Story...
I was found as a stray in Bryan and got sick during my extended stay at the shelter. I am all better now after some TLC in my foster home. I got spayed, vaccinated against rabies and FVRCP, and microchipped. I live with dogs and other cats in my foster home so should be able to get along fine with other pets as long as you do gradual introductions and give me a chance to settle into your home for a few days first. My adoption fee is $40 to approved indoor homes. Email BCSSpayDay@gmail.com to get an adoption application or find out if I will be at the next adoption event Saturdays 1-5pm at the College Station Petsmart (sometimes my foster mom has to work on Saturdays).

Come meet Emery most Saturdays 1-4pm at the College Station Petsmart back by the cat litter. Or email BCSSpayDay@gmail.com for an adoption application to set up an individual meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emery, a College Station Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in College Station, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in College Station.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in College Station already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a College Station breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in College Station paves the way for another one to be saved.
