Markiss, born approximately 6/5/15, is such a handsome, gentle boy and really needs a nice quiet home to come out to his potential. In a home with way too many kitties, its been wonderful to rescue Markiss and his sister and show them what carefree lives kitties should have. Markiss absolutely adores all over scratches on your lap and with the addition of his wet food (a sure fire way to bond to this baby) he will shower you with purrs and nuzzles. Like, his sister Mynka, Markiss will need to be in a small room or bathroom for a couple of days so he doesn't run and hide. (but of course during this time, lots of visits with cuddles on your lap and all over scratching will get his motor running) He just needs patience and time to show him attention and how to play with toys. Mynka and Markiss would be great together in a new home, or if separate, with a confident buddy to show him the sweet life. He will be a great addition to his new family. Everything is new to this baby and its been so rewarding to introduce them to their new lives of being spoiled. Recently, Markiss has gained more confidence and is now a regular part of the family! He, like his sister, loves to snuggle at night when he feels less visible, to purr and snuggle. This has led to him being more outgoing and secure and curious in his new family. It is becoming hard to let go of this baby but he really needs a family of his own so he can appreciate what the good life is.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm.
