Misu's Story...
Tira (now adopted) and Misu were found as abandoned puppies, thankfully they were in good health. When our rescue team tried to hold her, she yelped and ran away. Clearly she had been traumatized at some point in her young puppyhood. After two weeks in foster care, she finally learned to trust humans again and loves to fall asleep cradled in her foster parent's arms. She is smart, obedient, highly trainable and good with other dogs, cats and of course children. Misu is sweet, has so far not been a barker at all, and is fully potty trained, a great addition to any family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misu, a San Francisco Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua for sale in San Francisco, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
