This stunner is Daisy! Daisy is a beautiful blended breed (definitely has some water dog in her!) with a sunny disposition. She is a toy aficionado and loves to hoard her "babies" under her bed. Daisy is young and athletic, and requires an active home to get the stimulation she loves! Daisy is house trained, crate trained, and knows some basic obedience (sit, down, come). Her favorite hobby is jumping into the creek (or water bucket, or swimming pool, or fountain-- any form of water, she is there!) and fetching sticks. If you've ever wanted to train a dock dog, miss Daisy is your girl!

Daisy does have some anxiety around other dogs, and would like to be an only dog in a cat-free home. She enjoys human company immensely and would be a great companion in a home with older children.

Cheerful Daisy is located in Oakley, Utah.

About Jason Debus Heigl Foundation

About Our Rescue Group...

The Jason Debus Heigl Foundation was founded by Nancy and Katherine Heigl to celebrate the memory of a wonderful son and brother. In 1986, Jason was killed in a car accident. He was only fifteen years old.

Throughout his brief lifetime Jason loved all animals, especially dogs and cats and monkeys. He lived his life extending compassion and kindness to all creatures great and small. This foundation is his legacy.

The mission of the JDHF is to eliminate the needless suffering inflicted on animals by human cruelty, indifference, and ignorance. Our primary focus is the greater Los Angeles area, for now.

In pursuit of our mission, the JDHF routinely funds:

Our internal rescue group, the Heigl Hounds of Hope.
Other qualified rescue groups, via Networking donations.
The Transport of LA shelter dogs to states with great demand.
Free Spay Neuter procedures for the pets of qualified caretakers.
Compassion Education programs.
And we thank you for your support.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are located in the Los Angeles area and we do adoption events around town. Just check out our website to find out where and when!

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process is a couple of steps.

We ask you to begin by filling out an adoption application to express your interest in any of our animals. Once we receive the application and looked it over, we will contact you to answer any questions you may have about the pet and set up a meet and greet with the 4 legged friend you are interested in.

At that point, if you are interested in moving forward with the adoption, we will conduct a home check to make sure everything's good. We will ask you to sign an adoption agreement and ask for a donation of $150 for the adoption process.
