Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet our little Rico! He is a 10 week old Chihuahua mix weighing around 4 pounds. His mama weighed 8.5 pounds and we were told his dad was twice her size which led to delivery complications. Rico's mama was surrendered at the shelter the night before going into labor. By the time workers arrived in the morning, she was already in distressed labor and had to have an emergency C-section. Rico was the only surviving puppy out of four. He has only ever been bottle-fed because of the complications his mother experienced. He came to us weighing barely over 4 ounces when he was only one day old. We didn't know if he would pull through, but with a lot of dedication, love, and prayers, He made it! He is now ready to be adopted into a wonderful, loving home. We have become very attached to this little fella and he will only be adopted out to an awesome family. You must have an excellent vet reference, and we are looking for a home without small children because of Rico's small size. We also prefer a family that is willing to keep in touch through Facebook or texting so we can get occasional updates
WV Pet Inc. is a non-profit rescue organization run by a small group of dedicated volunteers. All of our pets are in foster homes as we DO NOT have a facility. Our adoption fees are $160 for puppies, and you are required to have them spay/neutered when age-appropriate, and adults are fully vetted and their fee is $210. There is a $10 application fee that can be paid via the DONATE button in order for your application to be processed, and you will also find more information about our adoption process and a copy of our adoption contract.
