Flame's Story...
Flame is about 5 years old. I am not sure what her breed is, but she is definitely a gorgeous girl! She was rescued from the Tri County fires. She is good with one other dog and he is a male. She is by herself in her play yard because she is so submissive and other dogs pick on her. She is super super sweet and really wants you to love on her, but she is very shy so you have to get low and baby talk her to come to you. She deserves a family of her own to give her the security she needs to live life to the fullest!

The dogs are located in Iola, Texas, which is near Navasota and Bryan College Station. If you have any adoption or rescue questions please contact me by email at iolasanctuarydogs@att.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flame, a Iola Cattle Dog/Setter (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/Setter (Unknown Type) for sale in Iola, or seeking a Cattle Dog/Setter (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Iola.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Iola already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Iola breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/Setter (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Cattle Dog/Setter (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Iola paves the way for another one to be saved.
