Clementine's Story...
Clementine is a 3 month old Great Pyrenees mix. She is going to be a big girl since she already weighs 20 lbs. Clemintine was rescued from a high kill shelter in TN. The moment our volunteer saw her she knew we were getting her out of there. She is a VERY sweet puppy.
Clementine loves to play with all the other pups in her foster home. The foster family is working on house training.

If you are interested in giving Clementine a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the Notes section. While you are there, please Like our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly anytime with questions about the dogs at 901-651-6322, or Angela with questions about our adoption process.

Clementine's adoption donation is $550 which helps to cover the cost of spaying, shots, vet examination, flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, the transport fee and certificate of health that is necessary to travel.

Our primary source of funding comes from our adoption fee. This fee allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.

Thank you for considering one of our rescue dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clementine, a Stamford Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Stamford, or seeking a Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Stamford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stamford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stamford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stamford paves the way for another one to be saved.
