Facts about Bush

  • Breed: Rat Terrier Mix
  • Color: White - With Black
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
Bush is a tiny bundle of love! At 18 pounds, he fits perfectly on your lap for cuddles, and can easily join you wherever dogs are allowed. Like many small dogs, he is high energy, and will need a yard to play or regular walks to keep him happy and healthy. Even though he's tiny, he likes to be the top dog, so expect that he will be the dominant male if your house has other dogs. Bush loves all people, and will do well in just about every family situation. Ready to meet this love bug? Call Maria at 786-205-6865

About Born Free Pet Shelter

About Our Shelter...

Born Free Pet Shelter is a No Kill 501(c)(3) non-profit dog rescue organization that has been helping homeless dogs since 1980. Located on a beautiful 5-acre refuge in the Redlands of South Florida, Born Free rescues dogs in distress and offers them the chance to lead happy and healthy lives.
We are currently responsible for over 160 dogs, ranging from puppies to seniors.
With the help of generous donations and the tireless efforts of our volunteers, we provide the love and care that they deserve.
Some of our dogs will live out their days at the shelter, but we have so many that would make wonderful companions if given the chance.

Come Meet Our Pets...

You can meet our adoptable dogs at any of these locations:
Petco (1635 NW 107th Avenue) every Saturday 12pm - 3pm
Petsmart (13621 S Dixie Hwy) every Sunday 11am - 3pm
Petco (Miami Beach) 1st Saturday of every month

For adoptions, please send an email to geraldinebornfree@gmail.com.

Our Adoption Process...

At the time of adoption it is essential that a fee be charged as it will be used to feed and maintain the animals that are housed at our shelter. The adoption fee includes DHPP vaccine, rabies vaccine, microchip and sterilization. We do a home check prior to approving any adoption.
