About Mavyn Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

~ About Mavyn ~

The organization was developed to help animals that might otherwise be put to sleep or not have appropriate warmth during the colder months of the year.

~General Information ~

We strive to help the animals. We are an independent non-profit 501c3 organization funded by donations.

During the winter months we do annual blanket and fabric drives to provide the animals in foster homes and in the local pounds with warmth and to make them warm jackets.

We also pull animals from the local pound to rehabilitate them and get them into new forever homes. We also occassionally take in strays or owner surrenders, to help keep them out of the local kill shelters and get them into new homes as well. Our main priority is the animals and helping to keep them warm and safe.

We also create education literature on various animal subjects such as the importance of spaying and neutering your pets, of keeping your animals warm, and about ways the general public can get involved to help the animals in need. See More...

~ Mission ~

Our mission is to help as many animals as we possibly can with the funding and donations of fabric provided. Monetary donations will help save the animals that might otherwise not live, by providing medical attention, shelter, food, and find their new forever homes. The fabric donations will be made into animal jackets to help keep these animals warm. We also make the fabric into kennel size appropriate blankets and dog beds to help keep the animals off of the cold floors and remain warm. With many animals, especially the older ones, this can make a huge difference by allowing them to not get cold joints and hurt worse by being in warm blanket or beds. This in turn will help to keep them healthier as well.

Our Adoption Process...

If interested in adopting an animal with Mavyn Animal Rescue, one would need to fill out an adoption application. Then a meet and greet with the potential animal would be set up, also introduction to any current animals will be done to assure the animals get along well and a home check will be conducted at that time. If the animal and the adopter is a fit/match, then the adoption contract will need to be filled out and signed by both the adopter and a representative from Mavyn Animal Rescue. Adoption fees vary based on the animal being adopted.
