JOJO's owner died and her dad was a long haul trucker so he needed to find a new home. She has a gorgeous coat of silky shiny black fur. JOJO is just a little one about 18 lbs and 3 yrs old. she is spayed and had vaccines and also microchipped. No kids under 6. she was very shy and scared but now loves me and knows i'll take care , feed and love her. She loves her walks and does great. also housetrained. she does need someone who will be patient and who is home with her. also does best with another calm dog . she likes to play but also likes to just be. must be careful she doesn't escape and bolt. she is a flight risk so best if you are local and can come till she knows you. sweet gorgeous little girl .

if interested fill out an application and then come to meet her. laura@RoadHomeRescue.com and i'll send one. we want a fenced yard since she might get scrared at first till she knows you are her new family. likes other dogs. not sure of cats yet. she is a cuddle bug for sure

About Road Home Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small group who try to save dogs off death row in the south. We pull them mostly from Ga, SC, and NC. Some are from Tn and KY or wherever we can help them.
So many dogs are killed in gas chambers in the South and we have to do whatever we can to help these poor animals who by no fault of their own are homeless. We are all volunteers and always need foster homes for any time you have available and donations to help pay our vetting bills. Heartworm treatment can be very expensive . We are so appreciative of any help and so are the pups.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We set up a meeting for you to meet the dog at our home where the dog is most comfortable and in his natural surroundings. . We have fosters in Cary, Morrisville and Charlotte. They are wonderful people who help save these lives.

Our Adoption Process...

We have an application to be filled out and upon approval within 2 days we have you meet the dog. Then we arrange a foster/trial adoption week. We also like to schedule a home visit before the final contracts . Our adoption fee ranges from a low $125-to a high of $350 . Most average $225 to cover the cost of our vetting.
