My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thomas is about three to five years old. He is a terrier mix, possibly has some Westie in him. Thomas came from a horrible breeding situation where he received little to no vet care. When Thomas first entered foster care, he was very backwards and shy. He would only come out of his crate occasionally and would sit on his foster mom’s lap for short periods of time. After about a week, Thomas blossomed. He gets along with other dogs unless he feels harassed. He loves his foster parents and they love him. Thomas will not walk on a leash but his recall is good. He will need a place where he has plenty of land or a place he can be in a fence. He cannot be tied out. Thomas is neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccination. He is housebroken and crate trained. Thomas will need flea prevention monthly and will need a family that is patient with him and will give him the time he needs to acclimate to their home. Thomas has not been around cats but it can be assumed that since he’s a terrier mix, he will probably chase them. Thomas needs an indoor home.
