Hilton's Story...
Hi everyone….my name is Hilton. I am having a good time at my foster’s home. I have my own toys and a big soft bed that I keep all of my toys on. My foster dad takes me for a long walk every day and I am learning how to walk on a leash….I didn’t like the leash at first but now I do ’cause I know I get to go meet people. I am learning not to jump but I sure enjoy playing anyway. It is really nice here and I get really good food…..only thing that could be better is my very own home. I don’t take up a lot of space and I promise to love you bunches!!
Love and slurpy kisses,
Hilton

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hilton, a Gainesville Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei for sale in Gainesville, or seeking a Shar Pei dog from a breeder in Gainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei breeders who help with Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
