Coleman's Story...
If you are looking for a family pet that possess all of the wonderful attributes people look for in owing a great dog, look no further as Coleman is the one for you. He is a year old neutered ACD/Heeler that loves everyone (big and small) as well as other canine friends. Cats are an unknown at this time. Coleman has only one wish at this time of year and that is to find a family that wants to share the holiday season with him, showing him what its true meaning is. Coleman appears to be housetrained, walks well on a leash, will ride in the car just fine but, does not get real excited about it. He is current with his shots, wormed, heart worm negative and on prevention as well as being micro chipped. If you would like to make ColemanÂ’s only one dream come true, please call 469-698-8898 to arrange a time for you to meet him. A re-homing fee is being asked and will be used to help other rescue animals.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coleman, a Lavon Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Lavon, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Lavon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lavon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lavon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lavon paves the way for another one to be saved.
