Sadie's Story...
1 year old female Heeler/Australian Cattle dog mix

SADIE

Sadie is a 1 year old, black/white, spayed and very loving female Heeler/Australian Cattle dog mix. Her coloring is just stunning! She is fully vetted, micro chipped, HW negative and has been started on heartworm preventative. Sadie is highly intelligent, as is typical of her breed, obedient and always comes on command. Sadie appears to be house trained, walks fine on a leash and doesn’t mind going for a ride in the car.  She is eager to please her family and follows in your every footstep. She loves all people (big and small) and appears to get along with other canines.  How she will do around cats is unknown at this time.  Sadie was rescued from the Garland shelter just before she was to be put to sleep for space. She is such a sweet girl and will be a loyal and delightful k-9 companion to the family who chooses her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Lavon Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Lavon, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Lavon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lavon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lavon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lavon paves the way for another one to be saved.
