Paisley's Story...
6 month old spayed Long Haired Dachshund mix

PAISLEY

Paisley is a tiny (8lb) 6 month old spayed Long Haired Dachshund mix that is as cute as a button.  At first introduction she is a little shy and insecure but, allowed to sniff your hand and a gentle touch to her head, she will melt into your body.  With this part of the meet and greet out of the way, she becomes the most loving and affectionate energizer pup you will ever find.  Be sure to have plenty of batteries on hand as she can go for hours and hours, providing you with a great deal of fun and laughter.  You will never go a day without her bringing a smile to your face.  We are currently working on her puppy manners which she is handling O.K. and we are sure she will have them mastered in no time at all.  She has yet to meet a stranger loving everyone big and small as well as other canines.  She is current with her shots, wormed, micro chipped and on heart worm prevention.  If you would like to arrange to spend more time getting to know this precious pup better, please call 469-698-8898 to make arrangements.  A re-homing fee is being asked and will be used to help other dogs in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paisley, a Lavon Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Lavon, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Lavon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lavon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lavon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lavon paves the way for another one to be saved.
