MARIAH

Mariah.....Mariah....
They call the wind Mariah
Way out here
They got a name
for rain and wind and fire
the rain is rest
the fire is joy
and they call the wind Mariah

Just as the rain is cool, the fire is warm and the wind is gentle, our Mariah a year old spayed Border Collie mix has all of these characteristics.  She has yet to meet a stranger, loving all people (big and small).  She appears to do just fine with other canines but, cats are unknown at this time.  She seems to be house trained, walks well on a leash, is learning the right way to ride in a car, and LOVES the water most of all.  This young lady will make a great addition to any family/home, as she is extremely loving and devoted.  She is current with her shots, wormed, on heart worm prevention, and micro chipped.  If you would like to arrange a meet and greet with this extremely sweet girl, please call 469-698-8898 to make arrangements, A re-homing fee is being asked and will be used to help other pups in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mariah, a Lavon Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Lavon, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Lavon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lavon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lavon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lavon paves the way for another one to be saved.
