My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you look into the eyes of Allie and her siblings, Irish and Faye they say, "please adopt me." They are gentle and affectionate 8 month old puppies that arrived from another shelter hoping to get homes here at Friendship. All were taken out of a bad situation. That hasn't affected their spirit. They want nothing more than for someone to love them. Please consider making one of these sweet pups your own. Once they return from training there will be no stopping them! They do not need to be adopted together.

On March 10, 2016, Allie, Irish and Faye were selected to be part of Friendship's Prison Dog Training Program. They are currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Prison Dogs are trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. They will spend approximately 12 weeks there. Prison Dogs cannot be visited during their training. All dogs return on an individual basis.

If you are interested in adopting this prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. You can find an app at friendshipapl.org on the Dogs and Puppies page. Hand deliver the adoption application to Friendship or call if you live a distance away to see if you can fax one in. Please DO NOT email the app.

If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321. Or email at adoptions@friendshipapl.org.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
