Piper Chapman is approximately one year old and weighs about 50 lbs. Piper has done some time, as in she was picked up by animal control because her owner was terribly irresponsible. Lucky for her she has been paroled and is happily living in foster care. Piper is also currently being treated for heartworms and doing very well. She is an outgoing lady, very affectionate with her people friends, gets along great with her dog friends, is not a big barker, and enjoys life generally. We are not really sure on her breeding but she looks like she might have a little bulldog or pit bull terrier in there somewhere based on her great ears.
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested positive for heartworms but will complete treatment prior to arrive. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for puppies picked up from our Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
