Meet Rambo! He might be a small dog, weighing in at 15 pounds, but he has a big personality. From his looks he might be a Morkie (yorkie-maltese) mix; he is NOT hypoallergenic. He is 7 or 8 years old, and has been with one family most of his life. Rambo came to us when his family moved into a retirement home that doesn't allow dogs. Although we can tell he misses them, he settled in with his new foster mom after a couple weeks. She tells us "Rambo is no trouble at this point, not demanding at all; he has just started to dash about a bit, and played fetch for the first time this morning. He is quite independent, and prefers to be on his bed and resting pads rather than on a lap. He likes one walk around the block a day, and nosing around the yard. Otherwise he's on his bed or looking out the window if I lift him to the windowsill."

Rambo was recently diagnosed and treated for an infection. This is what caused him to urinate so frequently, making wee pads necessary during the day and a crate necessary at night. Now that he is recovered, he is fine for up to 6 hours alone in the whole house without any mess, and has made it as long as 12 hours overnight! He now sleeps on his doggy bed, the same pillow he has used for years.

Rambo's adoption fee of $225 includes: vet exam, distemper combo vaccination, bordetella vaccination, rabies vaccination, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heart worm test, heart worm preventative and neuter.
