Hunter's Story...
Hunter came to us from death row at a local high kill shelter after he had become ill and needed out immediately. Thankfully, the shelter granted him a early release do to his medical condition or he may not have made it because he had the deadly parvo virus. After 5 days in ICU at our vet Hunter has officially been released and is doing well. He will be going to his foster home on 3/21. Hunter is a laid back and sweet lab baby. He loves other dogs and to play with toys. He hasn't been around cats but we think he would just want to play with them. He would be great in an active household with other pets and children. His foster will start working with him in house and kennel training. He's going to be a big boy weighing 28 lbs at just 16 weeks old. Hunter will be ready for his forever home on 4/4. Get your apps in on this gorgeous boy. He won't last long.

All puppies have a adoption fee of $150 which includes vet check, age appropriate shots, dewormer, rabies shot if atleast 16 weeks of age and neuter! Puppies can not go to their adoptive families until they have had 2 sets of shots and been neutered. With an approved application a puppy can be reserved if a $50 non refundable deposit is put down! The deposit will be applied to the adoption fee and $100 will be due at the time of pick up! Get your applications in now!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunter, a Grand Bay Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
